I'm most concerned with those in college getting cut out of the vote on both ends. The 18-24 vote is why Democrats do well in Presidential years but not so well in Mid-term elections.
I want to provide them with choices. If College ID aren't going to be accepted, then I want to make sure we get them the information so they can get their hands on the Absentee Ballots they'll need.
Getting them out to vote in 2014 will be the difference.

Pip,
Good point. And I'm forgetting which state proposed it, nor whether it's been enacted, but didn't a state propose some sort of tax on parents if their kids registered at their college, instead of their home address? To me, that counts as attempted voter suppression!

Steve, That is absolutely a Poll Tax! It sounds like one of the things coming out of this current session in North Carolina.
